This blouse is cut from a smooth fluid cloth that falls in soft folds from the shoulder. A round neckline sits close to the base of the neck, and a group of stitched horizontal pleats runs across the chest, releasing fullness into the body below. The sleeves are long with a slight gather at the shoulder that lifts the line without adding bulk, and they narrow towards a plain opening at the wrist. The hem is cut on a gentle curve that dips at the sides, so the blouse sits easily over a waistband or can be left loose over the hip.
