A fine knit top banded with horizontal stripes in blocks of colour that run across the body and continue along the sleeves. The base is a clean white ground, and the stripes are knitted in rather than printed, so the colour change sits smoothly in the fabric with no raised edge. The neckline is a round crew finished in a narrow rib that keeps its shape, and the long sleeves run straight to ribbed cuffs at the wrist. A matching rib closes the hem at hip level. The gauge is fine and smooth to the touch, light enough to wear on its own or slip under a cardigan or jacket.
