Women's Button Front Short Coat with Pockets
This short coat is cut from a smooth double faced woven cloth that feels firm in the hand and holds a clean line through the body. A rounded collar sits close to the neck and rolls into a narrow lapel, and the front closes edge to edge with buttons set on a plain placket. Two patch pockets are stitched at hip level with a straight top edge and enough depth to be useful, the long sleeves are set in with a plain turned cuff, and the hem finishes above the hip so the coat clears a jumper or a dress without bunching.
