Wide square quilting, stitched right through so the padding stays put rather than sliding into the seams. The collar stands on its own and the zip is hidden under a flat placket, which keeps the front line clean. The shoulder is dropped, leaving room for a jumper underneath, and the hand pockets are cut deep into the side seams. Light enough for a mild morning, warm enough for the walk home.
